The South
The Southern area of the AONB has a varied
landscape character including washlands bordering the
Wharfe dominated by pasture and and woodland to high moorlands
and valleys containing reservoirs.

On the southern boundary of the AONB are the Wharfedale
towns of Ilkley and Otley where you will find an excellent
range of shops, restaurants and places to visit - including
the new Otley Community Arts Centre.
