Mashamshire
Mashamshire lies to the north east of the
AONB where the underlying limestone contribute to a pastoral,
settled atmosphere in contrast to the bleaker moors to the
west. The landscape is gentle and rolling, with ancient
woodlands and hedgerows in place of dry stone
walls.
