Upper Nidderdale
Upper Nidderdale is characterised by its vast
moorlands, sweeping views dominated by Gouthwaite, Scar
House and Angram reservoirs. It is the location for some of
the finest grouse moors in the country.

The moorlands are internationally important for their birdlife
and provide stunning views of the valleys and reservoirs
below. The villages of Lofthouse, Middlesmoor, Ramsgill
and Wath contain many buildings of historic interest as well as
services includes pubs, restaurants and
accommodation.
